She made the whole experience easy and supportive, and we saw real progress with our dog. Even after our pup graduated she would still check in with us! Training our pup was no easy task, it was challenging but with Chloe keeping us on track we achieved real goals. Definitely money well spent, and we'd absolutely work with her again. Thanks to Rooted Dog training we were able to reach our goals with our pup and we have the family dog we wanted.

Chloe and Emily exceeded my expectations with helping train my 10mo Belgian mix puppy named Riley. They fully supported my dog in her anxieties, behaviors and needs and educated me about how to communicate effectively and train my puppy correctly. Fast forward from 8 weeks old- my puppy is off leash with excellent temperament. No concern is too small or big for either trainer. They truly try to get to the root cause of the issues you and your dog have and will try every technique til there is improvement. Also whenever there was a set back or issue they are very responsive and want to help you and your dog succeed. I also feel I am educated enough to correct and continue to guide my dog with her current needs. I also have adopted a second puppy and using their help in training this puppy early now! My Riley and Ranger are so happy! 🙂

Before we decided to go through the day training program with RDT we had already tried some... read more online training programs. We quickly learned that it wasn't enough to successfully train our puppy to the extent that we hoped for. Our main goals were to be able to coexist, trust and understand eachother in multi-faceted ways at home and out in the world. We came to RDT feeling defeated and uneducated, but hopeful, and we finished the training program feeling confident and knowledgeable. Their love and patience for all of the dogs that they see is wonderful and I felt so comfortable with them taking care of our puppy and taking her on training field trips. It was really amazing to see the transformation in our puppy as every week went by. I would describe the day train program to be like an intensive boot camp or an accelerated course (with homework, obviously). It feels like a lot of information in a short amount of time but the program is set up with realistic expectations and you're given all of the tools you need to get there. It wasn't always easy but Chloe and the RDT team have an abundance of wisdom and experience to provide support and advice. We put in the work, occasionally made some sacrifices, we pushed ourselves out of our comfort zone, and we did our best every week even if it felt like we had some bad days. Our puppy learned new things, solidified her skills, and had a very fun time! The homework is set up with weekly outlines of training goals and include supportive videos to help get you through training at home. Any questions or issues that I had while completing the homework were quickly and thoroughly answered by the RDT team. All of their advice was so extremely valuable. The training program is 100% worth the investment. We started off with issues of pulling on the leash, jumping, having a big attitude, not listening, being overly excited around people/dogs, and being very mouthy. We completed the training with a dog who is calm, walks nicely, listens well, plays nicely, and overall has a more enjoyable life with us. I'm so incredibly grateful to have RDT in our lives. I could rave on and on. The success we've experienced with RDT is something I would wholeheartedly recommend to someone seeking a training program.

We have a nearly one year old golden retriever, who we adopted only 3 months ago. With three young children, we wanted to have the tools to stop our dog from pulling on walks and jumping on people when excited. We wanted him to be comfortable in the crate and calm on command. Emily and Chloe gave us all the tools and training to do just that and more. His training journey continues as we seek to sharpen and refine his skills.   we just completed the day train program with chloe today. we started off when my puppy was 6 months old and lemme just say, from the beginning to now, cooper... read more is a whole different puppy! the process from start to finish was seamless. i appreciated that we did a phone "interview/screening" beforehand and then once we felt comfortable, were able to meet chloe one on one with our puppy. chloe makes you feel comfortable, explains things in ways that are easy to grasp and comprehend, and provides all the tools you need to be successful in training your fur baby. chloe is funny, easily approachable, and just an all around great person and trainer. i would hands down 100% recommend chloe and rooted dog training to anyone looking to train their puppies! thanks chloe and emily!!!
